Artsy Postcard

I intended to make a postcard for the Sunday Postcard challenge last week. The theme was "cake" and I had my elements all ready to go. But I didn't get a chance to finish it until Saturday.

Note to self: By the time it's Saturday here, Saturday has come and gone on the other side of the world where some of these wonderful challenges are hosted.

Needless to say, I missed it. So I decided to take my postcard base and make something else. I channeled my "artsy" side for this piece:

I combined a little painting, a little stamping, a little decoupage, a little embossing, some distressing... and a strange way of looking at things.
