First crocheted flower card

I have seen crocheted flowers on other cards and layouts and mentioned it to my husband, who is the yarn person in the family. He said, "I can do that!" and then did. In fact, he's still doing it. I now have quite the collection of little crocheted flowers of various sizes, colors and patterns, and it's growing.
I'm not really a crocheted flower sort of person, but I can't let his enabling good deed go to waste! I think they work quite well with the shabby/vintage style, too. Right now I'm attaching them with brads (the centers of the flower are small enough to do so, at least on the ones I've used so far), and I like the look of that. Glue dots would probably hold them well, too, but I haven't tried it yet.
* Black card stock base
* Distressed stripe pp (I've received a bunch of patterned paper in swaps and from friends, and I have no idea where this came from, except I know I didn't purchase it. If anyone knows who made this paper, please leave a comment and I'll be more than happy to give correct attribution.)
* Black generic ribbon
* Flowered pp - Daisy D's Attic Heirlooms Pack, inked edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink
* Sentiment by Stampin' Up!
* Crocheted flower by The Spinning Guy, distressed with Pine Needles ink
* Making Memories metallic medium circle brad
