Baby card

I realized this summer that I didn't have any stamps that are appropriate for baby cards. I could get by with a "congratulations" but I wanted a little more than that. Michael's $1 stamps have come in very handy that way; they have (had?) a cute baby set by Studio G that seemed like just the thing.
My husband's cousin had a baby boy this summer and I sent her this card. I love paper, and I love the look of layered paper. If you are in a hurry and need a quick and easy card, this is the way to go. You can do just about any style with a little card stock and patterned and/or solid paper. Matte two to three layers, or more, put a sentiment on the top layer and you have a nice (handmade!) card that's perfect for any occasion.
* Baby blue card stock base, layered with patterned paper on green card stock (I've received a bunch of patterned paper in swaps and from friends, and I have no idea where this came from, except I know I didn't purchase it. If anyone knows who made this paper, please leave a comment and I'll be more than happy to give correct attribution.)
* Gray-blue cardstock with edges chalked
* Michael's (Studio G) $1 stamps; blocks stamped in neon yellow - which didn't show up enough for me - then outlined in black pen. I used green on the sentiments.
