Is that gauze?

I've been making a lot of cards lately and in doing so have tried lots of different styles and techniques. I find that I'm very enamored with the vintage/collage style. I think it's the distressed, shabby chic elements that I really like. Add that to my "I'll put anything on a card" mentality and it's a good fit!

After admiring other works in this style, I decided to try my hand at it. This card is my first attempt at vintage/collage. And yes, that's really gauze - the stuff you find in the first aid section of your drugstore! (The slight blur is from scanning it - I have a great scanner, but it doesn't work as well when there is dimension.)

ScrappyPam: Vintage/collage style card using Ranger Distress Inks

* Small joker card from miniature card deck, distressed with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks

* Various other embelleshments are handmade or "found" items (dryer sheet, gauze, etc.)
